The European 2011 BMX championships held in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands.

www.bmx-videos.com made this great video about the vibe and atmosphere around the track in Haaksbergen. The BMX Final rounds in Haaksbergen proved to be an excellent example of the growth the BMX sport is making.  At the end of the video you can see the Elite men final of Round 11 where Joris Daudet beats Maris Strombergs.

Elite riders: Joris Daudet taking Maris Strombergs to complete his victory.

Joris Daudet won the European Championship BMX with a grandslam win of 12 out of 12 European races. This achievement is never seen before and the young racer has lready made history for himself.  After the final this is his quick response.

Laëtitia Le Corguille taking Saturdays win, Shanaze Reade in the background had a bad first corner but made up for it on the Sunday powering her way to a first place.

Grant Hill placing 7th place on both days, this and a National win last week see's him set for a great season.
