20 year old Danny Hart has taken the Gold at the UCI Downhill Mountain bike World Championships in Champery.  Danny started out on the smaller wheels and went on to pursue downhill mountain biking.  I met Danny a while back during my time as a DH photographer, I even have a picture of his dog…  He’s not the type of rider that said too much of the track but when on a bike this kid shouted talent and skill that was something else.
Watching Danny over the years and especially this season has been amazing.  He whips it up, takes it to the limit and to watch this is just jaw dropping stuff

The video floating around feels like one of those movies from the 70’s, a slightly dodgy copy of a dirty film. Hart has the leading role in which he rides the dirt bigger and better, and without his rain mac. This guy knows how to ride.
